Lost on the Hills

What a nightmare. Yesterday I went walking in the Quantock Hills as usual. However, half way round our walk in the Quantocks I wandered off the track a bit and by the time I got back to the path I’d lost Ian and Lynne. I looked around for them but they were nowhere to be seen. I was in a bit of a panic to tell you the truth and decided to go home on my own (something I’d never had to do before). This involved crossing the A39 which is a very dangerous road. I’m not sure that I did what I had been trained to do, but I didn’t get run over. By the time Ian and Lynne got home (also in a panic) I was lying outside the gates of The Old Cider House.

I thought I was going to be told off, but I wasn’t. Ian was so concerned, that he has put a new page onto dog-friendly-quantocks.co.uk  to deal with lost dogs.
