After being on holiday last week, this week was a bit of an anti-climax. Lynne went away for a few days to see her parents and I was left with Ian. I’m never quite sure whether he should be left in charge of an animal, but he seemed to be able to feed me and take me out for walks and things. The worse thing about being left with Ian is that he watches horror films while doing the ironing. Lynne doesn’t like horror films and neither do I. I get frightened by Dr Who and have to hide behind the sofa when it’s on – someone even bought me an Ood ball that glows in the dark – no wonder I’m a bag of nerves!
For some reason I have been naughty this week. I’ve wandered up to the car park only to be brought back by Sergio who lives opposite, I’ve eaten 8 squares of Cadbury’s whole nut chocolate (that cannot be poisonous surely!) and I’ve even been caught raiding Lewis and Sadie’s bin – mainly because I got the bin lid stuck round my head. Bad Ozy!
One of my friends, David, looks after poor and orphaned dogs and other animals that are not dogs (like cats and stuff). He is in charge of a Charity called the National Animal Welfare Trust and they have a scheme where you can give to charity, just by doing your normal shopping on-line. See the Easy Fundrasining/NAWT website for details.
Don’t forget to come and see me at The Old Cider House, bed and breakfast, guesthouse, Nether Stowey, Quantocks, Quantock Hills, Somerset
